[Question - other] Is it possible to get an ear infection from ear drops?

Like three weeks ago I used an over-the-counter ear drop and for two weeks I've been feeling fullness in my ear. Then a few days ago my left ear started hurting and I have a slight headache and maybe a little dizzy but I can still function like normal. Is this anything serious? The only thing I used was ear drops.
