[Question - Other] Am I over thinking this?
Morning all. I’d like to start by saying that this is in no way major, but I feel my twangs warrant an opinion; just not sure it’s a medical one.
I am female,36, and have had the copper coil in for 3 years (plus) now. I have been having “twangs” mid cycle for almost ever. I’m assuming ovulation as I’ve heard people can feel that and given that it’s normal for me and that I do not have painful or heavy periods I’ve never really questioned it.
Recently I’ve been getting full on crampy period pain when I am not due. Totally wrong time of the month (I am like clockwork) and my (minor) cramps used to just be a couple of days before.
My Gran went through menopause at my age, is this a symptom? Is there a possibility it’s to do with my coil? I’ve had it so long I wouldn’t have thought so...? I’m up to date with smears.
Bodies differ, and bodies change. Should I be bothering a professional about something as minor as cramps at a time like this?
