[Question - Insurance] : Do folks in other countries besides the US Americans experience difficulties or confusion in understanding/navigating their healthcare systems?

Pretty much everyone agrees that US healthcare is a mess. It’s a very inequitable system. the plethora of different types of plans and what they cover and cost is also huge source of confusion, stress, and worry for Americans. Examples also include stuff like surprise emergency billing, high costs of out-of-network coverage, high co-pays or drug prices being all over the place. There is also the fact that most of our population is not really literate on discussing and understanding healthcare. No healthcare system is perfect, but I’m wondering if folks in countries with more equitable and straightforward healthcare systems, such as single payer and universal healthcare, ever experience remotely similar confusion or stress in trying to understand their healthcare. I’m guessing it will never be as aggravating as trying to navigate the byzantine US system, but can you share any significant problems to your healthcare systems, especially those that are major political talking points in your country?
