So I know he blew up from TikTok however is he credited? (Has any certifications or anything) my family follows everything he says without second judgments. I guess he posted a video that DIY or natural masks are like worthless bec we don’t know how the aloe Vera was grown (water pH levels I guess or other chemicals?) I don’t know. I didn’t watch the video. It’s just that I’m Indian and natural masks is something I like to do 2x a year for 1 month or more often. When seasons change, my skin needs extra help or I get hormonal acne. My cousins always used to ask me for recipes and I found a new ingredient that also works wonders. I shared it with them and they said “Hyram said it’s not good or bad for you, (diy masks) it’s just a waste of money.” I’m not sure what this even means. My question is should I look at him like another person trying to do it for the fame/free goodies or someone who actually knows what he’s talking about. I saw a couple videos of his (it’s not like I avoid him or anything) but they were all sponsored and when he says “this is brought to you by...” it makes me wonder if whatever he said prior was true or half truths for endorsements?
It’s like a bandwagon movement going on right now so this isn’t hate or backlash or anything. I see lots of people recommending different skin care stuff like BHA’s or retinol or whatever lol
