[Discussion] NP’s and PA’s

The new thing these days is that when you go to see a doctor instead of having you see a doctor they have a nurse practitioner or a physician assistant see you. If this is the case, then why am i being charged the full price for a doctors visit? That’s like me going to McDonald’s and paying for a Big Mac and getting a McChicken instead.
