[Question - Insurance] Enrollment Penalty?

I was laid off at the start of COVID but my employer kept me on their insurance until July 29. I didn’t sign up for other insurance because I could still sign up for cobra if something happened. Right? Well now that I haven’t had insurance for 60 days what should I do? I looked on the healthcare.gov website and I can’t get anything till the start of next month... Am I going to get fined for not having insurance?
