I'm a low level hourly employee recently separated from the military waiting on an exam for my VA disability right now. I currently have VA Healthcare, but my wife isn't covered under it. Recently, my company announced their open enrollment with pricing, and it's almost half of my pay. My wife's job doesn't offer Healthcare and we missed the open enrollment for Medicare. What can we do? She's medication dependent and theres no way we can afford her medication without Healthcare, but when accepting the company policy results in almost half of my already small paycheck being gone, I can't afford healthcare either.
