Healthcare options when road-tripping? [Question - Insurance]

I'm planning on going on a road trip once the pandemic is acceptably under control. My concern is that since my dad lost his job, and thus our medical coverage, I can't completely count on being insured for a while. If something happened on the road, I'd be treated but completely screwed financially (USA). Do I have any college-student-affordable options in the meantime?
