About a year ago I quit biting my nails. Though, because I bit not only my nails, but my cuticles and nail beds too, they seem to have extensive damage (with mainly the cuticles) and permanent looking deformities of the upper part of the nail bed, due to me biting my nails for about ten years. The thin piece of skin that grows out from the base of the cuticles is either damaged or missing in a lot of places. Will it be possible for my body to completely reverse all these deformities? And if not, could it at least heal my cuticles?
I do not care about this on a cosmetic level, only on a health level, as some of my cuticles are sensitive sometimes right now due to them missing that piece of skin.
