There are so many natural beauty products out there but very few with a loyal following that can stand the test of time.
Particularly interested to hear about local products that have been around for decades, trusted by generations, and generally good valued.
I grew up in Sydney Australia, these days I live in London. There are so many things I miss about Sydney and every time I visit, I fill up my suitcase with local necessities that will last me for at least a year… and no it’s not Vegemite or Tim Tams, but mostly a whole lot of Lucas Papaw ointment.
Outside of Australia, most people have never heard of Papaw ointment, but almost everyone in Sydney uses that little red tube for everything from dry lips, pimples, burns to mosquito bites. It’s been around for 100 years, same old formula, a few dollars from the pharmacy and it just works.
There must be local products like this from many countries around the world. I'm intrigued to learn more. What are the favourites of your country? or what have you discovered from your travels?
