[Discussion] Less than 35% of US citizens have a real choice when it comes choosing health insurance

Since 8,5% don't have an insurance at all, 20% have Mediaid, 29% are under-insured, meaning they have an insurance with a level of out of pocket cost they cannot afford, 15% have Medicare with no extra insurance on top, and since experts strongly advice people to not just have basic medicare we can assume they cannot afford it. The total: 67,5%. Meaning only 32,5% seems to have a real choice when it comes to which health care insurance they can choose.

It's also important to add that even among these 32,5%, there are many who cannot choose just any doctor or hospital, since they are limited to those within the network.
