Hey Reddit!
There is little doubt that our current healthcare system is broken in a lot of ways. If you have ever had to advocate for yourself, someone you love or at your job, then you know how much time and energy can be spent just to keep running around in circles. A few of us who have worked in the healthcare industry are putting together a unique conference on April 6th and 7th of this year. The 2020 Healthcare Advocate Summit; designed by the advocates for the advocates. We are working to bring together things like a resource guide, blogs with patient challenges and solutions, co-pay foundation representation and the chance to meet and network with other patient advocates. It is our goal to reach as many advocates as possible. If you can join us, we would love to have you there. The fight for out patients isn’t going to get any easier and the need will only become greater.
Aside from sharing info with anyone interested - I'd like to ask, what would you like to see from a conference like this? How would you like to see healthcare advocacy evolve in the U.S.?
