First off I’m sorry if this isn’t the right place to ask. I just can’t really find an answer anywhere. Delete if not allowed
I’m in the US, and I have two insurance providers. BlueCross which is provided by my parents, and Amerigroup which is my current one. Essentially I am not in contact with my parents at all, and they refuse to talk to me. BlueCross is defaulting to my primary provider however I don’t have my plan information on it, and can’t seem to get ahold of it. This also means I am not able to cancel it. This is causing a lot of problems as right now I’m not able to pay for medication since I’m trying to use a secondary with a primary available.
Basically is there any way at all to fix this? I’ve already talked to BlueCross and they said they can’t help me without member ID or whatever, and Amerigroup told me that I need to talk to BlueCross to get the matter resolved. And like I said before my parents are not doing a thing on their end.
I’m currently 20 btw for reference.
