Henna clogging shower drain

Hi. This question is for all people here who use henna for dying their hair. How do you stop henna from clogging your shower or sink drain? I have very long hair so I have to use a lot of henna. In my house pipes are not very good. I bought henna before even thinking of this potential problem. Not sure if it is even a good idea to use it in this situation. Any suggestions?
