I have been employed as a physical therapist assistant in subacute care for 5 years. I have a BA in poli sci as well as previous work experience in state government and as an assistant manager for a restaurant. My goal is to start a career in the field of health insurance and managed care. I'm not exactly sure of the position I want right now. I did apply for a position as an appeals specialist.
Does anyone know of any continuing education course work I could take to enhance my resume and help me become a good candidate for a position for a health insurance or managed care company? Any other resources / advice would be welcome. Thank you.
