Hi peeps, I’ve never posted in here before but I’m thinking my love for tea tree oil belongs right here. I feel like there are so many wonderful uses for this popular but potent essential oil!
Here are some ways I use tea tree oil as a natural beauty enhancement:
*first plz note: I feel like I need to say this since I read it in every article I read about TTO - be advised this oil is not for everyone. Insert typical disclaimer info here. Consult your doctors first ppl, ok cool. Good talk!
1) mixed with witch hazel is highly effective in helping kill cold sore breakouts on my lips! 👄 it also feels incredible on your lips regardless. Whenever I have or feel a cold sore coming on, I apply this pre-made mixture to my lips , I can almost instantly feel a good kind of stinging that reassured me this is no placebo effect ppl! And it looks like a clear lip gloss (a little thicker than usual but it feels oh so lucious!) 2) in the bath 🛀 I suffer from a dust mite allergy that keeps me up at night itching. I also walk around barefoot 24/7, sometimes in places I have absolutely 0 business being barefoot. I’m sure I sound like an old country hick rn but I’m telling y’all the tea tree baths do wonders for my invisible itches and painful aching feet! 🦶 3) in a diffuser: I rent an apartment that is a far cry from some the previous apartments I lived in much earlier in my career. However living in an old building, especially when renting, can feel a little icky sometimes. I feel like there is a lot of unseen ick that lately had it’s way with my sinuses! Of course this could all be in my head, but I seem to notice the air i breath anytime I use my diffuser to feel a lot more fresh and clean. I sleep the best and wake up feel the most sinus relief when I’ve diffused tea tree oil while I’m asleep🧘♀️ 4) also a great way to protect and soften your nail beds and cuticles💅
Let me know your thoughts or if this helped or just any feedback in general - tata for now
