Hi I tried posting this elsewhere first...
I’m 26. I’m bipolar. I have a full time gig. Two kids. And no benefits. I missed open enrollment. I’m finally moving up in my career. Things are looking bright but I’m suffering from my illness every day. While I put on my straight face for the job and the wife when she falls asleep I drink about 5 shots of whatever I have in the freezer to keep myself from the effects of depression and mania. This isn’t a long term solution obviously but I’m just holding on until January. I’m curious if this is my only option. Because I’m very concerned if I’ll be able to keep my emotions stable anymore. Tbh I’m starting to slip for the first time since I got diagnosed 6 years ago.
I live in Massachusetts but have only lived here for 2 months. I have worked in Massachusetts for 4 years. I’m originally from Rhode Island and have lived there for my entire until 2 months ago.
