[Question - Insurance] I need insurance for medications, but I'm about to lose my current provider

I(29M) live in America (Louisiana if that makes a difference for local laws), and I'm about to not have my current job anymore which will lose me my health insurance. I'm not sure if I'm going to be able to find a job within a reasonable amount of time and I have some medications currently covered by insurance that I absolutely need. I cant afford these medications on my own, and I'm worried about what's going to happen to me when my insurance stops covering me. What are the health insurance options open to me if I do have to go unemployed for a while?
