[Question - Other] Do other nurses or aids do this?

My lovely gf of 6 years, who works at my local hospital as a CNA in acute care, admitted to me that there are times (especially on busy days when she has a lot of patients and little to no down time) when she jacks uneaten food from patients' trays and scarfs it down in a hurry like a starving trash panda who just hit the motherload. Is this a common occurrence? I'm curious.
