Has anybody ever tried (or is using) the natural deodorant, Nuud? The deodorant is meant to not block your pores, but uses microsilver to stop the bacteria under your arms from smelling bad.
The tube is made from biodegradable sugar cane and it ships carbon neutral, as well as being 100% vegan & cruelty free, so needless to say I had high expectations.
I've been using it for about a week now, and I have to say I'm not overly impressed. My pits are actually smelling worse than they did before. Nuud does say that often there is a detox process, with previous commercial deodorants blocking your pores so that when you switch to Nuud, your natural sweat may smell worse at first. But before this I was using a simple salt stick deodorant, which I'm pretty sure did not block my pores or stop me from sweating.
Nuud also claims that with regular use, you need to apply less and less often. So, you may apply in the morning and then not have to apply again for 2-3 days, even after exercising and showering. This sounds pretty incredible to me; however I have had to apply daily so far, sometimes even twice a day, if after work I am smelling a bit iffy. My underarms did not smell this bad before, so I'm thinking its either serious detox or Nuud just doesn't work for me.
Anybody else had an experience with this brand?
