Just looked at the insurance claim from a recent doctor visit and they charged $300 for the freezing of 3 small skin tags. The doctor literally told me it takes 10 seconds per tag, and it did. How would this add an additional $300 to my visit?
I used to live in Thailand and had a skin tag forming near my eye. I was in a shipping mall and saw a skin care business and asked what they recommended. 10 minutes later I was walking out having the skin tag burned off after paying around $9USD.
$300 vs $9???? I understand medical practices have more costs here but still, I think that is outrageous. And the procedure my doctor performed wasn't even successful!! They were not fully removed!
This makes me want to ask for him to try again free of costs just like any other business that would offer free service to someone who was not satisfied with their unsuccessful previous service.
