So my wife had a baby back end of December it was a c-section. They used anesthesia.
Anyway before everything got underway I spoke with the billing person and asked to ensure everything was in network. I go look on my portal since some of the bills are finally rolling in, but one of them hasn't. It is for the anesthesia and it states it was out of network.
Anyone ever deal with this? I plan to call Anthem Monday to figure out how to resolve, but just curious to see if others have dealt with something similar. It wasn't like I was given a choice for an anesthesiologist. Everything else I have received was in network.
