Hi everyone. So my mom has always been there for me growing up and she took a physical toll on her body working years as a waitress for me to go to school and be where I am today. I know she needs vision and dental care for sure, but she lately has been telling me that she has been getting some pains on her shoulders, and on her legs after sitting for long periods of time. She lives in Miami, FL and I moved to Los Angeles, CA after graduating school and getting a job.
The company I work for does not allow me to add her under me as a dependent, I can only add spouse or kids, so I need to look for a different plan for her to start helping her now that I am working and can afford to. I have no idea where to start and how to determine if a plan is ideal or not, if someone could guide me on a good direction it would be awesome. Is there a dominant 'best' Healthcare plan in Florida? I am worried and need to act fast but don't want to make a bad decision :(
