American health care is so ludicrously expensive – and often bureaucratic and frustrating – that many Americans now find they are better combining a trip with medical care. Cheaper, and in many ways less stressful than the United States of overblown medical costs.
I've seen reports of people traveling to Europe or Asia for dental work or optometry, for which in Europe they charge up to $15 per tooth or eye.
