I was wondering if anyone could provide me with a link(s) to figures on how much Medicare pays on average for specific procedures, tests, ER visits, check-ups, prescription drugs, hospital stays, acute care, etc. versus how much those same services cost in other countries with UHC systems. I assume, despite Medicare’s affordability relative to private insurance in the U.S., it still doles out more than the rest of the developed world.
I’ve been Googling it for an hour but haven’t run into anything concrete.
