My mom takes a common, generic blood pressure medication. It's a low dose of a beta blocker which she takes not because her blood pressure is high (it's not, as I understand it), but rather as treatment for panic attacks.
It's cheap, maybe $20/mo. But every year, they make her get an exam that's over $300. If she doesn't, they won't refill the prescription anymore.
Is there any safe way to order this from abroad or something like that? Just get the meds and skip the repetitive and expensive visits?
She has no insurance because the cheapest plan at her age (56) is 1000-1200/mo, more than she can afford, and yet she makes too much for subsidies.
tl;dr: How can we get prescription meds on the cheap with no doctor visit?
