I was charged a $40 copay and then later realized it was only supposed to be $25. I check my claims regularly. They never notified me of the error, I later called in and asked about it. They called me back and said they applied a $15 credit on my account and that if I visit any one of their branches it will be there to use on my next visit.
I know it's just $15 but is that correct procedure to apply a credit for future use? What if it was $100? I figured I would ask because I am moving across the country in a couple months. If I don't use up this "credit" then I will have to ask them for an actual refund. It's not a ton of money but it's still something I'd prefer to not just forget about.
