I live in a small city, with a large healthcare presence, and have the best insurance plan I could buy on the marketplace. Yet everywhere I've called there's at least a one to two month wait to see a doctor.
I don't understand how this works... I'm in my 20s, healthy, etc. but I have some issues I'd like to have checked out. I don't have a PCP, but how can it take 2 months to see one? What should I do with my issues I'm having now... I feel like I'm missing something here..
I don't want to go to urgent care, as I have to pay out of pocket for a lot of those expenses. Once I have a PCP will it take two months to schedule each appointment from then on? What about if I'm sick?
