Long story short I'm looking for some guidance for my girlfriends health issues. She's self employed ans has her own business and no insurance. This past year she was diagnosed with gall stones and needs her gallbladder removed. The surgery is around 30k which we obviously can't pay. We looked into insurance and because she's been diagnosed it's now a preexisting condition which no one wants to touch.
Do we have any options other than traveling to Mexico (which we are seriously considering)?
