I'm considering dropping down to a Bronze PPO plan from a Silver as my premium is doubling. I'm in Alabama.
The bronze plan (BCBS) covers 2 illness visits a year ($40 copay) before the deductible kicks in. The deductible is $7100. I also have tier 1 drugs ($20 copay) and tier 2 drugs ($40 copay).
I listed my PCP and my one medication I am on in the healthcare.gov site and it says the Bronze insurance does not cover either. But when I look at BCBS site, it lists the doctor as taking PPO insurance and on the drug list my medication is listed as tier 1.
How do I figure out if they are actually covered? Do I need to call BCBS or somewhere else?
