Should I use a face mask?

So im a dude (20 specifically) and I gave a fair amount of blackheads on and around my nose and on the area to the left and right just below my eyes. Now I was wondering if some kind of face mask used weekly would help out? I wash 1-2 times a day but every other day I don't use soaps and shampoos/conditioners (unless I did something that caused me to become really sweaty or dirty)so that I don't strip all my bodies natural oils from my skin and hair.
