Is it me?

I paid my annual out of pocket early this year so I have made many doctor appointments to address health concerns I have put off due to lack of funds. Every single doctor's office, lab, hospital, etc. wants me to sign up for their portal...15 and counting. I have neither the time not the inclination to do this. I understand shoving the work down the chain is rampant in corporate America, but if a doctor has some medical reason to contact me, he/she should do so.
