Oil pulling coconut oil solid or liquid?

I am going to try oil pulling to see if my teeth get whiter. Should the coconut oil be liquid or solid when I oil pull?

Edit: My coconut oil is stored at room temperature. This shit is already liquid cause its so fucking hot here in California.
