Amputee Explains How He Can Walk Around Without Prosthetics
Alex was born lacking an important bone in both legs and underwent a double amputation at the foot/ankle, called a "Syme's aputation." This sort of amputation provides greater comfort walking around as opposed to an amputation in the middle of the leg.
