I only make 800 a month but still don't qualify for medicaid in GA

...yup. I work as a barista and live at home; I got kicked off of my parents insurance as of yesterday because they got divorced. I'm just really confused as to how i don't qualify since i make well below the poverty line. I get that I'm a single adult but the lowest costing premium for me is still 270. How would I ever be able to afford that, rent, and a car payment? I'm gonna call later about it, this is mostly just me kvetching.

Prenetics to Launch CircleMedical, a Genetic Testing Product for Medical Professionals

Prenetics is about to launch a medical molecular testing product, Circle Medical, targeting doctors. This product is comparable to Natera, a medical molecular testing product in the United States, with a global market size of up to 59 billion US dollars.

With the success of CircleDNA among consumers, CircleMedical will become the only product for doctors, specifically designed to meet their professional needs, such as heart health and carrier screening. Invitae has pioneered medical genetic testing in the United States, and Prenetics hopes to do the same in Hong Kong, the UK, and Southeast Asia.

According to Frost & Sullivan's forecast, Circle Medical is expected to grow at a rate of 47% over the next 3 years and will bring Prenetics sales revenue of 225 million US dollars by 2025.

Do the USA envy Europe's public healthcare system?

What are the factors that contribute to the high cost of hospitalization in the United States, and how do these costs compare to other countries with different healthcare systems?

Is the reputation of the private healthcare system in the US for being very expensive justified, and what are the advantages and disadvantages of the private healthcare system compared to the public healthcare system?

How is the private healthcare system being utilized in other parts of the world, and what are some examples of successful public-private healthcare partnerships? Lastly, what are the options for health insurance in the United States, and how do these insurance policies difference in terms of coverage and cost?

I live in southern Europe and I am really curious about your thoughts... Do the USA envy Europe's public healthcare system?

Why are doctor appointment wait lists so much longer now?

What contributes to appointment wait times being so much longer than in 2019? I live in Missouri and now I have to wait months to see most specialists and even my primary care is weeks to months. I don’t recall having this issue pre-pandemic. All Covid restrictions seem to be lifted where I live for a long time now. Did the pandemic really just cause that much societal backup for lack of a better term?

Have concussion cannot get seen to be treated

In mid January I was in a MVA( rear ended ). I went to ER next morning with symptoms of a concussion, in which I was not diagnosed. Several days later I was at work and fell because I couldn’t stand up. Sent to a different ER where I was diagnosed with a concussion related to the MVA.

I was given a referral to a sports medicine concussion clinic. They never attempted to contact me so after 3 weeks I messaged them through my chart. I found out this clinic I was referred to is not taking new patients and they generally don’t treat MVA related concussions and if I could get in it would be 1-2 months before I can be seen.

We have 2 other health systems in my area and same thing, they generally don’t treat MVA related concussions and the same wait time to be seen if they will take me.

These are all sports medicine clinics that I was referred to. I did message my PCP to try and get a referral from his office but if he can’t help what are my options for treatment?
