computer science major + healthcare minor
hello, I am new to this sub, not sure if this is the right place to ask but I am a computer science major thinking of adding a healthcare minor. I know there are a lot of problems within healthcare management and policy, and I was wondering what the career options are in tackling these problems with computer science. any advice is appreciated, thanks!
When will relief come
How long will hospitals stay flooded some hospitals in my city have wait times that are over 8 hours long. I know another boom is coming because of New Years idiots. I do believe that a majority of the Covid cases that go to the hospitals shouldn’t be there.

I tested positive for Covid and my job still wants me to come in
Four of my coworkers also tested positive for Covid. They get to stay home. I see a lot of older patients and unvaccinated patients. They’re putting the business over my health and the public’s because I’m a good worker.
The American healthcare system is a disgrace.
It's that time of year when many Americans go through the process of "open enrollment", to choose (or renew) their healthcare plan. As I choose my plan and read all of the fine print concerning coverage, I'm always reminded what a disgrace the American healthcare system is.
Having a CHOICE of plans only means that you're able the pick your POISON. Why should anyone want a "bargain" healthcare plan that offers very little protection? Even with coverage a serious or long term medical emergency will most likely destroy the financial stability of the average American.
CHOICE through the healthcare market is nothing more than a Capitalist joke. The American healthcare system is DISGUSTING.
There should be ONE American healthcare system that everyone pays into, that equally protects and cares for every citizen. That's how a civilized nation functions.
