Hello - wife's coverage from her employer ends on Sept 30 due to her losing her job. I'm getting a new job in September and there is a 3 month wait, so we will need coverage for October and November. What good options for healthcare should I look at? We can pay COBRA through her job but that's over 2k per month. I know nothing about Obamacare - is that an option. Thanks for any help you can provide!!

[Question - Insurance] [US] Is it normal for the same medication to triple in price?
Background:
I used to get my medications filled at Publix pharmacy. The several medications I got were pretty inexpensive. I stopped using this pharmacy near the end of last year (2020) because I started doing most of my shopping at Costco
I transferred all existing prescriptions to Costcos pharmacy along with filling my new prescriptions there. My total for several medications would come out to under $10 and the cost saving was amazing. Unfortunately they are terrible at filling medicine, contacting customers or doctors when issues, and I've had SO many problems with them that I'm extremely fed up. My membership is also expiring and I'm just not renewing it
So now I have moved back to Publix pharmacy and started filling my medication again here, and today, for the first time since last year, I picked them up and the prices have more than tripled for the same medicine, same dosage, same quantity, since the end of last year. I have the same exact insurance like nothing has changed but the doctor. Is there a reason this is occurring? I tried GoodRX to get the price down and they said it didn't work
For example, one medications was 1.54 and is now 9.54 and a second medication was 3.39 and now 10.00
Do I call my insurance for clarification or what can I do because with 5 to 6 medications all with increase pricing I won't be able to keep up the monthly cost

Graduated college a pre-med Biology major/business minor, but my undergrad experience was traumatizing to the point where I can barely get started looking at the MCAT. I've explored other career options such as nursing, physician assistant, pharmacist, etc. but I mentally can't get over the hump anymore.
I've tried confronting this issue for years now, and I simply think my path as a healthcare provider may be done.
But I don't my career in healthcare to be over. Taking care of my community has always been my plan. I still want to be involved in healthcare even if I'm behind something other than a stethoscope.
All the physicians who've treated me have told me never to get into private practice because of the business side of things - managing practices is a pain in the ass.
Is this as an opportunity for a career pivot? Coordinating with my neighborhood private clinics so that I can manage the administrative side of things and allow the physicians + their staff can focus on treating patients?
Is it possible to stretch management responsibilities over a network of private practices that may or may not be connected?
If such a career isn't viable, what else should I look into?
