Rosehip oil for skin?

I keep seeing conflicting reports on whether rosehip oil can cause purging or not. Some people are telling me an oil can’t make you purge so I must be going through real breakouts, and others say that rosehip oil is high in linoeic acid which causes all the sebum and stuff to loosen up and come up to the surface.

Does anyone have any experience on this?
