Hey reddit, first time poster long time lurker. I got a 6650 HDHP with a health savings account attached to it. The premium is 220 a month with a 46 dollar tax credit..I don’t really know what I’m doing but I’ve read into the awesome tax Benefits of HSAs and i want to jump on board. I’m male 25 and went with health partners here in Mn. It will be my first insurance plan that I pay for and I don’t really know what I’m doing. Its a bronze 6650 deductible with a hsa. It seems that I’m Going to have to pay 12000 dollars for this plan to be come effective.

Once the deductible and the out of pocket are covered, do I keep the plan forever and be able to benefit from an hsa or would I have to re enroll for the plan again and pay it all over again? I would really not want to do that. Is the plan mine to reap the benefits after everything is paid?
