I am overwhelmed and feel like I am missing a lot of information on what options are available to me either out of pocket or through insurance. As immigrants, we aren't that familiar with navigating the medical / insurance system here.
I have come to depend on family for a lot of my caregiving and keep learning about support options like transportation, home nurse etc. one at a time, almost always by accident.
Are there resources we can talk to, or read up on, so we know what benefits we can avail to make life a little easier with all the health conditions? The doctors I have been seeing so far haven't been very helpful, and being on Medi-Cal / Medicaid already limits how many providers I have access to.
