Doctor and Nurse Gifts

Will doctors and nurses accept xmas gifts? I saw my PT and receptionist accept gifts from another woman so I know I’m safe there but I got small gifts for my primary and her nurse for everything they do and have done for me above and beyond. Is this something I can just drop off at reception or is it considered something they can’t accept and I can make an appointment to gift it to them? Any criticism or ideas welcome.
