Best route for health care for self employed [Question - Insurance]

I've been exploring healthcare options - and its been tough to understand which plan is the best to suit my needs. I've tried to understand everything and I seem to understand majority of the basics. (Have had healthcare through company for a decade, recently became self employed).

I've been putting off many health care items that should have been taken care of by now. I've tried to get help on this from people around me and haven't been able to really get anywhere. Anyway - i'm young, early 30s, and I need to get a few preventive maintenance appointments scheduled ASAP. The anxiety caused by putting this off is catching up to me quick, and its something I think about everyday. I have nephews that rely on me, and I want to make sure i'm around as long as possible to be there for them. My older brother passed away a year ago from colon cancer, and my last colonoscopy was about 5 years ago, so I need to get in for that. I'll have that as a procedure this year, and potentially further appointments in worst case scenario.

I've also had some weird health changes in my body in the last year, could just be due to depression and the slump im in, could be more. I plan on having an extensive physical done as soon as I have health care as well. Blood tests, the whole cha-bang.

Basically what i'm trying to say is that i'm going to be spending more money than usual for my health, and potentially larger amounts depending on how things go. TBH I do think I have some underlying sickness just due to how much my health has changed in the last 2 years. What type of healthcare plan would you choose or if you were in this situation? any input helps! TYIA
