Are HealthCare dot gov's visible status changes as confirmation of 1st premium payment necessary?

  1. I had a plan through HealthCare dot gov with insurance company "H1" this year, uneventfully.
  2. Using HealthCare dot gov during this enrollment period, I selected a new plan with insurance company "H2" and separate dental insurance company "D".
  3. Via HealthCare dot gov's prompts, I went to pay each of them their first month's premium bill in advance as instructed, and doing so brought me to "H2"'s and "D"'s respective websites as expected.
  4. The credit card payments both went through and both companies own websites acknowledge that payment for Jan 2023.
  5. As if by automated process, the status for "D" as appears in HealthCare dot gov changed to "Active". Good.
  6. Unfortunately, HealthCare dot gov still shows the status for "H2" as "Initial Enrollment" with a prompt to pay. But I have! Even the website for "H2" shows paid, clearly for the first month of 2023.
  7. "H2"'s over-email support claims that they have no requirement to alert HealthCare gov of a status change, which is probably wrong and a matter of the left hand not knowing what the left hand is doing.
  8. This year due to low income I have a tax credit, and so I'm especially nervous that the missing "hand shake" will leave the goverment incorrectly thinking that I'm not signed up and not to receive the credit.

Am I approaching trouble? Does it matter if the December 15th deadline comes and goes without HealthCare dot gov being aware of the status change? I'm in fact all paid up and id cards are on the way.
