Friend of mine is an uninsured immigrant and doesn’t know how to get treatment for his injured shoulder.

Hi all, My friend is an immigrant here in MYC on a temporary visa and doesn’t have healthcare currently, but injured his shoulder a few weeks ago riding his bike. He looked into what a consultation would cost, and the potential of paying thousands of dollars for XRAY/MRI is preventing him from getting it checked out. It’s not getting better but it seems like he just plans to wait it out. Any ideas where I can point him? Thanks
