Patient with CRE asked me to do private care for them. I said yes, did I make a mistake

I work in a center and I guess he really liked me and thought I was nice. We exchanged numbers and he called me and asked if I can help anytime this week and I said sure. Should I cancel, should I just be extra cautious and wear shoe booties and tight clothing(so my clothes aren’t touching everything as easily) and mask to avoid transmission? Idk if it was worth the risk but not all the nurses and CNAS wore gowns in his room so I figured as long as I’m just careful with Whwre I touch and use gloves I should be fine?
