Accidental overdose = 90minutes waiting in the lobby

Small rant here. I am on a multitude of different medications to control pain in my lower spine. I was hit by a truck when I was 21 on my motorcycle. Anyway, I am very careful about my medication to the point where I have a pill regimen box (thanks to my wife). So long story short, been working 16 hours a day 7 days a week and accidentally took an extra daily dose of all my medications. I arrive at the hospital and they take my vitals (probably to bill my insurance right away) then I am sat in the waiting room. Vomiting, cold sweats, trembling, kind of dozing off. I have officially lost all faith in our healthcare system. I know not all hospitals are the same and the same goes to doctors/nurses, but damn this country is going to shit. Also, I understand it wasn’t a “severe” overdose at the time, but I am on extended release medication so it was only getting worse and worse. I don’t mean to offend anyone who is a doctor or a nurse. I respect your profession and am very grateful for you all. I do believe the large corporation healthcare systems are ruining all of our good doctors/nurses.
