Hopefully someone can help out, just want to be certain how this works for insurance purposes.
- So there is a cost that the testing/lab has- then goes to the doctor as a cost, the doctor ads his/her profit margin for the lab test, then insurance pays the doctor for everything?
Or does insurance individually pay each, the doctor and the lab?
If someone could clarify this for me, I am working on a project for school. Sorry if I am elementary at this, just want to be certain. If you could ad anything that is important, would really appreciate the learning of the process.
