I understand that some clinics and hospital departments have less to do at the moment. But why are not most of the 43,000 workers offered work elsewhere during this crisis? Or are all hospitals coping well with the corona situation without hiring extra people?
The main reason I'm so surprised is that over here hospitals were trying to get extra personnel for weeks. They were even asking retired doctors and nurses to come and help. And our rate of infected people in Norway is less than half compared to the US.
