Trying to train hair

I'm trying to train my hair to not need shampoo. I know results may vary, but I only have five days left before I need to go back to work and I'm hoping that's enough time otherwise I'm going to break down and wash it. It's been six days and I look like Severus Snape. Anyone here have luck with this method of going "poo free"?
