Last week I went in for my braces procedure which I've been getting treatment for since I was 19. I have a surgery due over the summer and soon after I will be done with this whole thing. But the lady at the front desk told me that since I am 21 my provider may not cover me anymore. I'm guessing my coverage will end in October when I turn 22. I was looking over dental plans and some of them are fairly affordable, but none of them cover the almost $5K bill that Medicaid does on my visits. What can I do in order to finish my procedure without being on the street, and what should I look for when trying to find a dental plan that can cover orthodontics?
